Derrick Stack Sizer™ has redefined the definition of efficient wet screening of fine particles. Never before has a single machine been able to offer such productivity at such a small footprint. The Stack Sizer™ which can be made up of up to five screening decks located one above another and operating simultaneously can be fitted with urethane Derrick screen panels which offer high productivity and long life. This unique combination means that wet screening has become more practical than it was ever imagined. Hundreds of Stack Sizers™ are now used at mineral processing plants around the world providing significant profits.


Operating principle

The patented Derrick Stack Sizer™ screen consists of up to five single screen decks located one above another operating simultaneously. The specially designed one-stage or multi-stage feed separation system (Flo-Divider) homogenously divides feed to each Stack Sizer™ unit and then to each deck. Thanks to significant distance between adjacent screens it is easy to observe the operation of the system and carry out maintenance, as well as replace screen panels. Each screen deck is equipped with undersize hopper which is then guided to a single collective discharge. In the same way the oversize from each deck is collected at a single discharge.
